Hi, I’m Craig, Sheffield born & bred. I’m a VERY Ex chef, Masterchef contestant and Publican who specialized in Cask Ales.
But long before that I was given a love of simple, delicious, traditional food by my grandmother and mother but also by travels in Italy sampling lots of cucina povera (pst…look it up in translate if you don’t know what it is)
So, I suppose this blog is my thoughts on just that, traditional food, should we be mucking about with it, how to cook it and eat it. Along with the occasional restaurant review, that’s just about it.
